You have your ticket and planned what you want to see and now you’re wondering how to get there. So, if you haven’t quite figured out your transport plan. Let us take care of that for you.

WellFest 2019 returns to the beautiful grounds of the the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, a stunning venue and an oasis in the centre of Dublin City. It is situated between Heuston Railway Station, the iconic Kilmainham Gaol and the world famous Guinness Brewery. It is minutes from the M50 motorway and easy to get to from the airport.

How to get there

WellFest 2019 travel

By Dublin bus

To Heuston Station (five minutes walk via Military Road): 26 from Wellington Quay; 51, 79 from Aston Quay; 90 Dart Feeder Bus from Connolly and Tara Street stations. To James Street (5 minutes walk via steps to Bow Lane onto Irwin Street and Military Road): 123 from O’Connell Street/Dame Street; 51B, 78A from Aston Quay.

By foot

Approximately 30 minutes from the city centre.

By train

From Galway, Limerick or Cork? Our location is super handy as the Royal Hospital Kilmainham is just a five minute walk from Heuston Station; from Connolly Station use the Red Line LUAS towards Saggart exiting at Heuston Station; and Tara Street Station by 90 bus to Heuston Station.

By Luas

Red line to Heuston Station, five minute walk to Museum entrance on Military Road.

From the North

There are both trains and buses that travel to Dublin from the North on the regular. When arriving in Dublin Connolly or Busaras, you can hop on the Red Luas line towards Saggart, exit at Heuston Station after approx 20 minutes. Royal Hospital Kilmainham is a 5 minute walk on Military Road.

By car

The nearest public car park is Park Rite Parking Lot at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7. Taking public transport is strongly recommended. Please note there is no parking available on site at Royal Hospital Kilmainham, we strongly advise the use of public transport.
