If your breakfast routine needs a kick up the arse, check out this delicious nut butter oats recipe from The Kitchen Alchemist, Hannah Pemberton. Believe us when we say nothing this tasty should be this easy.
Forget soggy cereal and cold toast, Hannah has you covered, saying: “These delicious and protein-rich oats are an amazing way to start your day – not only are they tasty, but they will also slowly release energy throughout the day.”
You will need:
155ml soya milk
2 tbsp almond butter, or whichever nut butter you prefer
2 fresh strawberries, sliced
A handful of dried cranberries
A handful of fresh blueberries
1 tsp cacao nibs
A drizzle of runny honey or maple syrup
The night before you want to eat, mix the soya milk and oats together in a bowl, cover and place in the fridge.
The next morning, add to the bowl the nut butter, berries, cacao and runny honey or maple syrup.
