What's on

What’s on this weekend

At a loose end this weekend and wondering what’s on? We’ve rounded up the best selection of wellness-focused events taking place around the country.

What’s on in Cork?

Morning of Mindfulness @ Northridge House, Blackrock

Would you like to reconnect with some stillness and peace in a busy world? Join Suaimhneas Mindfulness for a monthly Morning of Mindfulness workshop.

Often we rush through life paying little attention to what is going on around us. The Morning of Mindfulness workshops provide a space to slow down and to deeply rest in this present moment. Afterwards, float out the door ready to enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Both beginners and experienced mindfulness practitioners are welcome.

Sunday, 25 March from 11am – 1pm. Tickets are priced at €25 and are available here

What’s on in Dublin?

The Art of Effortless Effort @ Cumberland St

For those looking to refine and advance their practice, the first immersive weekend from Sibylle Dallman and Naomi Sturdy offers the perfect opportunity to do some deep diving. Sibylle and Naomi are the pair behind The Art of Teaching teacher training and have taken all their shared knowledge and developed three weekends each focused on a different theme.

First up is The Art of Effortless Effort and you can expect to discover space to find more refinement in what you already know, identify and shed patterns that are no longer serving you and skilfully elevate your practice towards more depth and mastery. Beside deeply nourishing you on every level, these immersions create a unique context for personal growth on and off the yoga mat.

Friday, 22 March – Sunday, 24 March. Attendance is priced at €225 and you can register here

What’s on in Westmeath?

Sound Bath @ The Dancing Soul, Athlone

If you want to quiet your thoughts or want to start a regular meditation practice with the sound then this is for you. The sounds will help you to enter a peaceful state without any effort.

A truly passive experience, just by listening to the sounds your brain you move to the Theta state; which can awaken more awareness and intuition. It can also assist with changing old beliefs and patterns, let go of that what holds you back and creating balance and harmony in our life.

Sunday, 24 March from 6 – 7.15pm. Tickets are priced at €15 and you can register here
