If you want to avoid the festivities and are wondering what’s on this weekend there’s a host of wellness-inspired events taking place in Dublin. Here’s our round-up.
What’s on in Dublin?
Sacred Sounds @ The Wisdom Centre
As we approach the Winter Solstice it is a poignant time to stop and listen; to harmonise our energy and reassess our focus. This retreat allows you to drift away and experience the rejuvenating effects of sound therapy.
Join a special group retreat and explore the beauty of the human voice and the calmness it brings. Allow yourself to rest and enter into deep relaxation with the soothing sounds and vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls.
If you have no experience of chanting/mantras or sound therapy in general … you are very welcome… curiosity is welcome!
Sunday, 15 December from 5pm – 8pm. Tickets priced at €40 and are available here
Chocolate Yoga @ Infinity Hot Yoga
Think Sunday afternoon… warm drinking chocolate straight from the jungle rainforests of Guatemala. Enjoying carefully prepared ceremonial grade cacao in a warm and welcoming room gently heated with infrared lamps. Experience powerful breath-work for nervous system regulation, sound frequency meditation and a guided yin yoga practice. All of which combine to combat these long, dark winter nights, allowing you to step into a new week with balance and clarity.
Sunday, 15 December from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Tickets are priced from €40 and are available here
Gaza Womens Project Charity Class @ YogaHub Camden
Join Kate McQuillan as she guides you through a 90-minute masterclass in aid of The Gaza Women’s Project. The Gaza Women’s Yoga and Circus Hub is a safe space created to empower and connect the women and girls of Gaza through movement and meditation. Here, they can build relationships, trust and a sense of a supportive community, without barriers of age, ability, class, and ethnicity.
This is a donation-based class, bring more cash on the day if you want to donate extra, all funds going towards the project.
Saturday, 14 December from 1pm – 2.30pm
