What’s On This Weekend

This weekend may not be a long one, but that doesn’t mean you have to sit at home and mope. If you’re at a loose end and wondering what’s on this weekend we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best wellness-inspired events taking place around the country.

If you went big last weekend and are wondering what’s on this weekend that doesn’t involved alcohol let us help you!

What’s on in Dublin?

Playstival with The Happy Pear @ Airfield Estate

Playstival is the new kid on the festival block and the only one dedicated to kids and their families. From the pair behind The Happy Pear, it’s a 2-day festival for children and their parents. Playstival celebrates play, imagination, and fun with a range of hands-on, fun and imaginative games and themed play universes.

Playstival is both interactive and active, kids don’t just sit and watch, they play. The focus is on a more innocent approach to games and play, designed to foster interaction, movement and imagination – no fancy technology or a screen to be found!

And for the parents, there’s no need to worry as  Happy Pear food will be on offer throughout the weekend. From healthy wraps and salads, to hot dishes, as well as Happy Pear smoothies, hand-roasted coffees, and a selection of healthier cakes and treats. We’ll see you there!

Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 August from 9am – 6pm. Tickets are priced at €12.42 and are available here
