What’s On This Weekend: 24 May, 2019

Do you still have the post WellFest blues? Us too! Which is why we’ve rounded up the best wellness-related events taking place this weekend to tide us over

What’s on in Dublin?

Yoga Disco @ Opium

Yoga Disco is revolutionising the way you do yoga and how you socialise! Brought to you from the organisers of Morning Gloryville Dublin, Bingo Loco and Yoga Sound System. This is for the generation of ‘conscious clubbers’ every Wednesday in Opium Club, Wexford Street!

This is for the party people, the yoga enthusiasts, the disco groovers, the people who like to train hard and party harder. Yoga Disco is bringing a more social element to yoga and a creative way to blow off some steam afterwork instead of heading to a bar. Beginners are welcome. The only difference between Yoga Disco and a regular class is that the sounds are better and there’s a dance element first.

Enjoy an intense ecstatic dance frenzy to shake out those cobwebs before sliding into some uplifting, euphoric and energetic movements to kickstart the soul!

Wednesday 22 May. Tickets are priced from €9 and are available here

Kidsyard Rave @ Jam Park

Kidsyard Rave is an inclusive family experience where parents can have just as much fun as their kids. Presented by Dublin City Mum and Bodytonic, old ravers can relive their youth with their kids (and without the hangover!). Mums, dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles and kids are all encouraged to hit the dance floor and have fun. Dancing with your kids is the ultimate sensory experience. Kids love seeing the grownups in their lives letting loose and having a good time!

Kidsyard Rave will include circus performers, glowstick crafts, face painting, balloons, bubbles, a sensory and creative play area for babies and toddlers with parachute games… AND incredible dance tunes, this month’s guest DJ is Davey B knocking out Ibiza & 90s classics.

Sunday 26 May from 2pm – 4pm. Tickets are priced from €8.91 and are available here
