What’s On This Weekend: 4 January, 2019

The madness is over for another year, so time to find something nourishing to do this weekend. Thankfully we’ve rounded up the best wellness-inspired events from around the country. Here’s what’s on this weekend

Whether you overdid it on the food and drink or you just really missed working out, this weekend is when everyone everywhere promises to get their life in order. And how better to achieve it than with a wellness-inspired workshop. So, here’s a round up of what’s on this weekend.

What’s on in Dublin?

Myofascial Release and Flow with Annie K

This is the perfect workshop for those who’ve been slovenly over the past few weeks as it’s designed to release and stretch tight bodies. Whether it is from sitting in work, activity or just general tightness this workshop will do wonders for your mind and body. You’ll start by releasing tight hips, legs, shoulders and back with myofascial release techniques, untangling super tight spots. This will then be followed by a stretch and flow to open your body like never before. The workshop finishes with meditation and relaxation lead by Annie Kirwan. All levels welcome.

Saturday, 5 January from 2pm – 4pm @ Sandymount Hotel. Tickets are priced at €35 and are available here

If you overdid it this Christmas and are looking for sober activities then this series from the guys behind Brewtonic is just the thing. The idea of the event is to encourage people to embrace low alcohol drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails and to treat our bodies a bit better.  Every ticket comes with a non-alcoholic drink on arrival and an activity like yoga & meditiation. You can also just rock up on the day for thetalks and tastings if you don’t want to attend any of the classes. Tastings from King of Kefir, Gut Instinct, Seedlip, Silk Tree, Kopparberg Non-Alcoholic, Edik’s Vinegar.
