Block Party @ YogaHub Camden

Block out Friday evening and get to know the humble block in all it’s versatility! Join Downward Doug as he show you just how diverse this prop can make your practice. From shoulder shape ups to chaturanga challenges, pistols squat poses to ab workout accessories, Doug will show you there is more to yoga bricks than meets the eye. In this challenging 90 minute flow you’ll remove mental blocks by adding these physical ones.

Autumn Barre Workshop @ Yoga Dublin Dundrum

Join WellFest contributor Grainne Conroy for a barre workshop that will change your game!
This barre workshop is built on a belief that a solid foundation is the basis of moving well. Over the course of two hours, you will work on a deeper level to progress your barre technique covering; arms, legs, core, and glutes. The final 30 minutes is for Q&A and reflection to ensure that you leave with personally relevant takeaways.
This physically-focused workshop will:
  • Explain the basics of ballet as relevant to barre
  • Deconstruct the key positions and principles of barre
  • Use techniques to find more efficient activation in the body
  • Explore strength and flexibility (…and how to increase both)
  • Demonstrate effective breathing practices
  • Uncover potential body “blindspots”
  • Increase your physical confidence

Oslo Health x Platinum Pilates at Lululemon Dublin – Move for Breast Cancer Awareness

A Lululemon Sunday Sweat with a difference. Pamela Renwick (Oslo Health) and Milena Jaksic (Platinum Pilates) will be taking attendees through a mixed ability mat-based Pilates class ending with a guided relaxation. Enjoy some light refreshments after a panel discussion with the Caroline Foundation who will talk attendees through preventative measures and share what they do. Mats and refreshments will be provided and the team will be providing collection buckets for The Caroline Foundation at this event.

Powered Barre Sculpt @ Sandymount YMCA

This class combines ballet exercises with Pilates to create a workout like no other!

Learn to build the strength and definition of a ballet dancer without any dance experience. This class is designed to make you shake and burn.

Yoga Brunch Society X Yogaxgaby @ Brother Hubbard

The Yoga Brunch Society is designed to create some time for you. Use this opportunity to pause, take deep breaths, stretch, socialise and connect with others while enjoying delicious food.

The morning will start off with some meditation followed by an energising yoga session. Everyone will then gather together to share a delicious brunch made by Brother Hubbard.

All yogis are welcomed, the class is designed to encourage beginners and there is always options for the more advanced yogis to go deeper.
