5,000 Steps to Wellbeing Walk @ University College Dublin
Mental Health Ireland is holding its annual 5,000 steps to wellbeing walk this Sunday to kick off Mental Health Week. The walk promotes Mental Health Ireland’s Five Ways to Wellbeing: connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and giving. The 4km walk is for everyone. Its buggy, wheelchair, scooter and dog friendly and refreshments will be served at the finish line. All proceeds will go directly to funding the promotion of positive mental health via the organisation’s programmes, training and campaigns.
Sunday, 7 October from 2.00pm – 4pm. Priced at €15 for adults and €5 for college students. Children go free. Register here
What’s On In Galway
5k Park Run @ Oranmore, County Galway
Start your weekend on a positive note and get your running shoes for a timed 5k run, jog or walk in Rinville park, Oranmore. The runs is open to all. Anybody and everybody, of all ages and running abilities can take part and it’s free! For more park runs across the country, see parkrun.ie.
