What’s on in Limerick

Move Energise Glow @ No 13 The Factory, Castletroy

Move Energise Glow is a pop up fitness event with a mission. Determined to  transform people’s attitudes to health and fitness by creating online tools and live events, they also hope to build a community. Bringing like-minded people together to enjoy and experience unique cutting-edge fitness & health events across Ireland.

The day will start with a light healthy breakfast on arrival with tea and coffee available. Eoin Sheehan from Country Munch will kicks things off with a healthy recipe/meal prep demo. Next up, Jack Thornton, powerlifting coach at City Gym Limerick, will take everyone through some weight lifting techniques.

Next up enjoy a talk by Gary Mc Gowan of Triage Method (aka Skinny Gaz). The day will finish with goody bags and a vinyasa flow yoga class led by Maggie May of Yoga Life Limerick.

What’s on in Dublin

Splits and Spuds Yoga @ MPV, Dublin 8

Yoga studios can be intimidating places, but does yoga in a pub sound as intimidating?  Seriously! This Saturday join Naomi Lyng for hour long yoga class, suitable for all levels.

When you’ve finished namaste-ing to your hearts content, you can then wander down to the main bar to collect a SPUDBOX, the classic Irish baked potato with your choice of filling including chili con carne, jerk chicken and veggie. And best of all, all profits will go to CHEEERS: Developing Healthcare Together, a non-profit Irish professional multidisciplinary sending organisation.

GirlCrew x Fearless Moves: Beyoncé Fitness  @ The Bernard Shaw, Dublin 2

Grab your girls and head into Dublin City Centre this weekend for a fitness event like no other.

GirlCrew has teamed up with Fearless Moves to bring you this almost-too-fun-to-be-real morning party to celebrate GirlCrew’s birthday and mark International Womens Day with some serious girl power endorphins. Join us for a Beyonce tunes, a fitness class suitable for all levels, followed by a drool-worthy brunch.

If you don’t know about Girl Crew, it’s a brilliant app for women at a loose end. Members set up events covering everything from cinema trips to holidays. GirlCrew has almost 150,000 members in over 40 cities worldwide.
