What’s on this weekend

At a loose end this weekend? Worry not! We’ve found three wellness-inspired events taking place around the country to keep you entertained.

The Wellbeing Workshop @ The Mill, Celbridge

It can be hard to find your mojo at this time of year. Miserable weather, dark days and even excessive festive cheer can be hard to navigate your way through if you’re feeling blue. So, if you need a mental boost as we head into silly season, check out this four-hour workshop which is being run by MP Psychology Services. Taking place this Saturday at 2pm (25 November) the workshop focuses on improving your wellbeing, reducing stress, boosting your mood, teaching the skills to set goals and solve problems and most importantly, get a good night’s sleep.

Priced at €30. Tickets available from eventbrite.ie

The Happiness Project @ The Dean Dublin

Join New York Times best seller Gretchen Rubin,  author of The Happiness Project and the woman behind the hugely popular podcast Happier with Gretchen Rubin in conversation this Monday at 7pm (27 November). Organised by Irish Country Magazine, guests will be inspired by Gretchen’s story as she discusses her tips for a happier life and her new book, The Four Tendencies, which looks at the four distinctive types of personality. If you’re trying to get a head start on 2018 this is for you!

Priced at €25 (€35 with a copy of The Four Tendencies). Tickets available from irishcountrymagazine.ie

Grace – Strength – Buoyancy @ Dublin City Bikram Yoga

Join yoga teacher extraordinaire Sibylle Dallmann as she teaches this non-heated yoga masterclass dedicated to moving with more fluidity and buoyancy. This workshop is for anyone who wants to develop more grace and true intrinsic strength in their yoga practice. And those of us who just need to move and sweat it out after a miserable week! Taking place this Saturday from 12.45 to 2.15 (25 November).

Priced at €25. For more information contact dublincitybikramyoga.com
