What’s on this weekend in Dublin
Spring Into Barre @ Platinum Pilates, Clonskeagh
Learn the tricks of the trade from the always awesome Dearbhla Mitchell. Combining her honours degree in theatre studies and background as lead solo with the Monica Loughman Ballet Company, Dearblah has created this Spring Into Barre event for any Barre lover.
The 2 hour workshop will take you on a magical ballet journey. Starting with a fitness section, Dearhbla will teach you how to build the strength, poise and flexibility of a dancer. From there you move into the technical side of things. Dearbhla will teach you the most popular ballet moves and sequences. She will break them down in to simple blocks, teaching you the trick to master them along the way.
Putting everything you learned together, you will finish the day with a choreography session. Dearbhla will teach you a stunning routine to Spring from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
If you love barre or simply want to live a childhood dream of being a Prima Ballerina, then this workshop is for you.
