Wondering what’s on this weekend? Us too. There’s something about this weather that has everyone feeling a little antsy. So we say put that energy to good use and sign up to a class. From cycling to running and teacher training to Rocket yoga it’s all going on.

What’s on this weekend in Dublin

Rocket Yoga Workshop @ Yoga Hub Camden

Rocket yoga has come to Dublin after taking the London yoga scene by storm. Based off the Ashtanga sequence, Rocket is dynamic and challenging. However, it’s a lot more playful with plenty of opportunity to get upside down. It’s called Rocket because it gets you there faster!

There are options and variations for all levels, but it appeals to people who don’t take themselves too seriously! In this workshop, Sarah will guide you through a 75 minute music-powered, dynamic vinyasa sequence, flowing into 45 minutes of a deep, Yin-style meditation.

The Rocket sequence will get you sweating out toxins and rejuvenating both your body and mind. You use the bandhas and breath to build heat, as you flow through vigorous asanas to energise the body. The slow and passive release of yin will complement the dynamic ‘yang’ practice.

Sunday, 29 April @ 1pm – 3pm. Tickets are priced at €30 and are available here

Adjustments Workshop @ Little Bird

If you’re a teacher, yoga devotee or teacher trainee then this is for you. Adjustments play such a huge role in developing your practice. From correcting alignment and improving technique, to helping a student develop better awareness of body and breath adjustments, knowing the right approach is key .

In this workshop you will look at the why (and why not), when and how of adjusting classical yoga asanas. Join Rohan Hennessy as he demonstrates, discusses and works with all attendees to improve your knowledge and understanding. Aiming to help students (and ourselves) find the perfect point in each asana.

Sunday, 29 April @ 2.30pm – 5.30pm. Tickets are priced at €35 and are available here
