It’s the last bank holiday of the summer so time to get out there and make the most of the sunshine. We hope! If you’re wondering what’s on this weekend wonder no more, we’ve got the best wellness-related events taking place around the country.
What’s on this weekend in Dublin?
Yin Yang Flow for Hamstrings @ Yoga Dublin
Hamstrings can get tight for a variety of reasons. Playing sports, every day life and even working cause hamstrings to tighten. And often times, despite stretching out after classes, we seldom stretch enough. Which is why workshops focused on this area are such a treat.
Join Eimear this weekend to learn how to release tension in the hips. For the first half of the workshop you’ll focus on unwinding tension in the hips through a sumptuous yin practice. In the second half you’ll work through a juicy flow culminating in exploration of hip-openers. Particularly useful to those who weight train, cycle and sitting.
Guided meditation @ Sahaja Yoga, Temple Bar
Have you tried and failed to meditate? Have you ever tried a free class?
This Friday join the teachers from Sahaja Yoga to better your technique. Meditation is a simple time-honoured technique that lets you tap into that energy and harness its power to become better balanced and better connected to yourself; emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Classes are free and all you need to bring is yourself.
Friday, 3 August from 7.30 – 9pm. Classes take place at 4 Eustace St and you can register here
