All You Need to Know

When and where is WellFest 2017?

WellFest 2017 will be held over two days on the 6th and 7th of May in Herbert Park, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

When are tickets on sale?

Tier 1 Weekend tickets (Saturday to Sunday) will be on sale at 9am on 27 January 2017 until 13 February 2017 at midnight.

Tier 2 Weekend tickets will be on sale from 9am on Tuesday, 14 February 2017 to midnight on 26 February 2017.

From 27 February 2017, Tier 3 tickets will be available at full cost. Tickets are available here.

How much are the weekend tickets?

Tier 1 Weekend tickets €50 plus booking fee.

Tier 2 Weekend tickets €55 plus booking fee.

Tier 3 Weekend tickets €65 plus booking fee.

Can I buy a one day ticket to WellFest?

Yes one day tickets will go on sale on 27 February priced at €40 plus booking fee. However we recommend attending all weekend if you want the ultimate WellFest experience.

When will the presenters and timetable be released?

The names of the presenters at this year’s WellFest will be released really soon with the final timetable being released much closer to the event.

What time does the event start and end?

The gates open both days at 9.30am and the event finishes at 6pm. Classes and workshops start from around 10.00am. Please consult our timetable for all the details. 

Where is Herbert Park and how can I get to it?

Herbert part is located close to Dublin City Centre  in Donnybrook, Dublin 4. It is on a number of bus routes such as the 46a. The dart also runs close to the park with the closest station being Lansdowne Road. We would recommend that attendees take public transport where possible as parking is limited at the venue. Please DO NOT obstruct driveways, neighbouring properties or park illegally as this can cause great inconvenience to our neighbours.

What is the age limit for attending WellFest?

WellFest is a strictly over 18s event but kids under 12 can attend for free with their parents. See next FAQ for more details.

Can I bring my children to WellFest?

WellFest are delighted to announce that children under the age of 12 can attend WellFest 2017 free of charge provided that they are fully supervised by an adult at ALL times. It is not acceptable to bring children aged between 13-17  to the festival. Anyone found to be of this age will not gain free admission to the festival or otherwise. ID checks will be in place at the festival, if you feel your child looks older than 12 years old please bring ID to back this up (colour photocopies will suffice).

Please note that you do not need a ticket for your children. Each adult with a festival ticket can bring up to two children aged 12 or under to the event.You must register the number and ages of the kids attending when buying a ticket.

What activities will be available for children?

This year we are excited to add a brand new area WellKids. There will be lots of activities all day long for kids in this area. Please note that kids will not be allowed access or take part in any of the adult classes or seminars at the other Wellzones throughout the festival.

I am not a fitness fanatic or very fit, is WellFest suitable for me?

Yes absolutely!  WellFest is not a fitness festival. WellFest is a wellness festival of which fitness is only one element. We encourage people of all fitness levels, age and backgrounds to attend WellFest. If fitness is not your thing, you can still have a lovely day checking out the food demos, listening to some of our amazing speakers and treating yourself at our WellVillage marketplace

Do I have to pay for any of the activities at WellFest?

No once you purchase a ticket for WellFest, it allows entrance to the festival and access to all classes, talks, seminars and demonstrations throughout the day.  It will also allow access to Food Vendors and the WellVillage, however, items being sold in these areas will cost extra.

Please note that like all Festivals, we cannot guarantee access to all events as we may have to limit entry for safety reasons due to size restrictions in our tents. We advise that all WellFesters get to events they want to attend as early as possible to avoid missing out.

Will I have to prebook any of the events at WellFest?

No, all events at WellFest will be filled on a first come first served bases. For the more popular events, queues will start to form from around 10 -15 minutes beforehand. We advise that all WellFesters get to events they want to attend as early as possible to avoid missing out.

How many WellZones are at WellFest 2017?

This year we are excited to announce that we have 10 different WellZones including the brand new WellFood for food demonstrations and WellKids for the small ones. Our favourite zones will remain from previous years including WellTalk, WellYoga, WellPilates, WellStong and of course WellStage where we will have some exciting headliners performing.

Our partners Fit Dist again host an area with TRX, Trigger Point Therapy and Let’s Band classes running all day long.  

How many activities can I participate in at WellFest?

You can take part in as many classes as you see fit.  The main timetable will be released closer to the time of the event to allow you to plan your day at WellFest in advance.

Remember to give yourself breaks between classes and drink plenty of water.  

Can I leave the festival and come back to it in the afternoon?

Once you are supplied with your wristband at registration you will be able to leave the premises and come back showing your wristband.

Will there be showers or changing facilities at WellFest?

No, we do not provide changing rooms or showers at WellFest.

Will there be a cloakroom / storage facilities at WellFest?

No we do not provide any storage facilities. We did before but there was no demand for it. Most WellFesters just put their bags beside them when they are attending classes and seminars.

I have a medical condition, who should I inform?

If you have ANY medical conditions you must advise instructors before participating in any exercise. Participation in any of the workshops and or demonstrations at this event is done at YOUR own risk and the Promoter will not be liable for any injuries incurred as a result.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Unfortunately not, unless the event is cancelled tickets are non refundable.

Help, I have not received my ticket yet / can’t find my ticket?

If you purchased your ticket before 27 February, to access the event, you need to produce the QR Code on the confirmation email you received from Eventbrite.  

If you purchased your ticket after 27 February, to access the event, you need to produce the QR Code on the confirmation email you received from Eventgenie.  

If you haven’t received an email we advise you to check your spam or junk folder. 

If you still cannot find your ticket, send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Urgent Ticket Query” and we will help you out.

Please note that you can transfer the ticket to somebody else to use on the day even though it is in your name.

Can I transfer my ticket to another day?

Unfortunately not, day tickets are not transferable.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

We can’t guarantee that tickets will be left each day but if there are some remaining they will be available at the box office at the entrance. Any tickets bought on Saturday or Sunday will be on a cash only basis. We do not have terminals to take card (there is an ATM in Donnybrook village, 2 minutes walk from WellFest).
