Pete’s true connection to nature and to himself began at just six years of age, working and training with horses — a passion he continues to this day. Horses, with their strength, sensitivity, and intuitive nature, played a profound role in shaping his path, offering lessons that still resonate deeply.

Although Pete initially followed a career in electrical work — a family business — and went on to run his own firm for many years, he felt a growing sense of unfulfillment. That changed dramatically when he made the life-altering decision to stop drinking alcohol. From there, the floodgates opened, and a more aligned journey began.

A naturally competitive spirit has always been part of Pete’s nature, having spent years competing in equestrian events, Ironman races, and mountain biking (DH, Enduro, and XC). That same drive for excellence now channels into his holistic work, where he brings energy, focus, and wholehearted commitment.

Pete is a Level 1 & 2 Pirtus Bath Master and offers specialised whisking treatments. He also facilitates powerful Death and Rebirth ceremonies — deeply transformative experiences reflecting the cycles of life we all move through. He is trained in aromatherapy techniques, clay rubs with essential oils, massage, and a range of healing whisking treatments designed for both individuals and groups. Each session leaves clients with a lighter, more emotionally balanced sense of well-being as they step out of the sauna.

His learning has been shaped by deep cultural experiences — from spending time in Finland with two Finnish shamans, learning traditional ceremonies passed down through generations, to visiting over 14 sauna styles in just 10 days, exploring the unique energy each one holds. He also trained in Lithuania with the Bath Academy under Birute and Rimmas, learning techniques that use plants to heal the body through ancient ceremonial practices.

Pete has participated in both men’s and mixed retreats, holding space for deep connection and honest emotional expression. He’s facilitated sauna sessions at herbalism retreats, incorporating natural herbs to enrich the experience. More recently, he’s been exploring Kundalini activation, which sparked a deep interest — and he’s set to attend a training course with The Healing Forest to further expand this work.

Together with his brother, Pete co-runs Tigh’N’Alluis, a growing retreat space that has evolved into a dynamic mini-retreat centre. The space hosts a wide variety of events in collaboration with other facilitators — from yoga and Wim Hof experiences to sweat lodges, fire walking, Kundalini sessions, tarot readings, meta meditations, LGBTQ+ events, full moon rituals, and even sober raves.

Pete’s yoga journey began in Crescent Head, Australia, where he trained in Hatha Yoga and meditation — an experience he describes as life-changing. He now teaches at the retreat centre and at festivals whenever possible, continuing to explore new ways to guide others on their path to healing, connection, and growth.

And for Pete, this is only the beginning — with many more meaningful chapters still to come.
