5 WEEKS OUT FROM WELLFEST WEEKEND, A WHOLE NEW WAVE OF HEADLINERS HAS JUST BEEN REVEALED!
Over 50 new fitness, food and wellbeing experts have been announced, including International bestselling author and inspirational speaker Katie Piper, bestselling food writer and founder of the ‘Deliciously Ella’ brand Ella Mills, Paralympic gold medalist Ellen Keane, husband and wife wellness advocates Gerry and Miriam Hussey and many, many more.
Some key festival highlights revealed today include:
New headliners including Katie Piper, celebrated bestselling author, motivational speaker and TV presenter, who will take the stage at WellTalk in association with Image to share her inspiring journey of resilience, empowerment and the transformative power of self-love and confidence. This year’s WellTalk programme shines a light on powerful perspectives and insightful honest conversations that delve deeper into the human experience.
The weekend schedule also features Ella Mills who is best known for her plant-based Deliciously Ella brand, Dr Sumi Dunne, Jennifer Rock founder of The Skin Nerd and prominent Irish nutritionist Sophie Morris. These newly announced WellTalk additions join the previously revealed Get Better with Chris, Dr. Brian Pennie, sex educator and founder of the Oh! Moment Jenny Keane, and Millie Gooch of Sober Girl Society.
This year’s WellFood showcases culinary talents such as bestselling author and nutritionist Em the Nutritionist, New York bagel queen and Dublin micro-bakery founder Kieran Clifford of Fat Baby Bakes, Cork-based chef and social media sensation Trisha Lewis, gut health expert Ciara Turley, Irish food writer Dee Laffan, TV chef Erica Drum, and Dublin dumpling guru Janet Liu. Other highlights include plant-powered chefs Conor Spacey, Christina Soteriou, and The Happy Pear, as well as Han Song Kim of Korean kitchen JARU and Alistair Jeje of Afro-Caribbean fusion Socafro Kitchen, among many more foodie favourites
Friends can take part in fitness classes together, guided by top Irish and international trainers including Les Mills Grit HIIT workouts, pilates and yoga such as techno yoga with Yoga Le Naoise and acro yoga with trained ballet dancer Pip Elysium. Attendees can also look forward to strength training, sweat-inducing sessions and spin classes, including the high-energy Pure Ride indoor cycling class led by Kevin Twomey of I’m Grand Mam podcast fame.
Women’s Aid are also returning as the festival’s official charity partner and will lead a ‘Too into you’ panel discussion on the WellTalk stage. The Women's Aid Too Into You campaign is focused on young people, in particular young women, aged 18-25 and aims to teach young people about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships and provide support for young people.
Children under 12 can attend WellFest for free with an accompanying adult ticket holder and participate in a weekend packed with activities such as gymnastics, family line dances, and even baby raves.
